Shiftzy (the "App") is operated by Arj.Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (the "Company", "we", "our", "us"). Arj.Global Ltd owns the full intellectual property rights in and to the Shiftzy App, including its software, brand, designs and content. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your personal data when you use Shiftzy, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR") and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Personal data we collect

• Identity & contact details (name, email, phone, date of birth).
• Right to Work, ID and DBS verification documents.
• Bank account details for payment of wages.
• Availability, shift history, ratings and in-app activity.
• Device, log and approximate location data.
• Photos you upload (e.g. profile photo, ID).

3. How we use your data

We process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

• Contract — to provide the Shiftzy service to you.
• Legal obligation — Right to Work checks, tax and employment records.
• Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, platform safety, improving the App.
• Consent — optional marketing communications and certain cookies.

4. Sharing your data

We share personal data with employers offering shifts you apply for, identity-verification providers, payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and HMRC or other authorities where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
