Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shiftzy mobile and web application (the "App"). The App is built, owned and operated by Arj.Global Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Arj.Global", "we", "our", "us"). Arj.Global Ltd owns the full intellectual property rights in and to Shiftzy. By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. About Shiftzy

Shiftzy is a UK-focused platform that connects temporary workers ("Workers") with hospitality, retail and event businesses ("Employers") offering short-term shifts. Shiftzy is an introductory platform; the contract for any shift is between the Worker and the Employer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom, and able to enter into a binding contract.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current and complete information, including for Right to Work, identity and (where applicable) DBS checks.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity.
• Do not upload unlawful, defamatory or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to circumvent security or scrape the App.
• Do not use Shiftzy to discriminate against any person.

5. Payments

Wages for completed shifts are processed through our payment partners and paid into the bank account on your profile. You are responsible for any tax obligations that apply to you.

6. Intellectual property

The Shiftzy App, including all software, source code, designs, trade marks, logos, copy and other content, is the exclusive property of Arj.Global Ltd. Arj.Global Ltd owns the full intellectual property rights in Shiftzy. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell or create derivative works from any part of the App.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload (such as profile photos and documents). You grant Arj.Global Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display such content for the purpose of operating the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms or applicable law. You may close your account at any time from in-app settings.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Arj.Global Ltd is not the employer of Workers and does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety or legality of any shift, Worker or Employer.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to the foregoing, Arj.Global Ltd's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the amounts paid by you to Shiftzy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
